Another life's lesson learnt

Was bored one day and happen to chance on this movie on HBO...
The story enthralled me not only for its theme but also the music and the strong acting by the lead actors that portrayed another Romeo and Juliet theme with a twist to the plot.But all in all,I love the movie.
One of the few lines that struck me the most was the scene when Christian (Ewan McGregor who is quite a looker in the show) was confessing to Satine (Nicole Kidman) that he loves her and tries to convince her that its OK to fall in love.

And this the writer never fails to instill into the audience by repeating it again and again throughout the movie though a few times the line was not said by Christian but by others like the 'Sitar player' at the end when he remembered his line at the most crucial nail biting moment as Christian was about to walk out on Satine because he thought she had played him all along when she actually wanted to save him from the evil Duke (which didn't surprise me as most movies these days base their nemesis as the one with all the money but JUST had to be alil greedy or a pervert..sigh).

And because its a tragic romance movie,Satine dies at the end from either lung cancer or TB (wasn't mentioned in the movie except showing her coughing out blood and something bout 'dry cough' ? ) Sad,sad...*cries*

Then there was the song that also made me tear for personal reasons.When i read through the lyrics, I felt like it just took the words out of my mouth and subtle it into something that if directed properly,could make even the most hardest hearted person in this world fall on their knees and burst into tears. Of course,it also has to come from the right person cause any Tom,Dick or Harry will not give it that extra boost.

Wish I could have the courage to say this out loud one day.
My gut instincts tells me I can do anything in the world but confess my true feelings even if it was a matter of life and death except to those whom I know will cause me no trouble and I can DEEPLY trust..
And this I know is true cause I've given up on many and yet still make many mistakes cause I took the wrong time to be brave.

Another added movie to my list of favourites.


And uni restarts in 8 hours time.Cries again...
4 months left till I kiss IMU BJ bye bye...
